Where it works
On mainnet only: LaMarge moves real funds. Your executor follows the LaMarge release in which Aster and Lighter settle inside the venue. Against an older LaMarge it signs nothing, and says so. Before the first move, with your executor’s wallet:- Access. While LaMarge is invite-only, redeem an access code in LaMarge’s app with this wallet. Until then, moves fail and say so.
- Polymarket Perps. Open Polymarket Perps once with this wallet, so it has an account there.
- Aster. Deposit on Aster once from this wallet itself: until then Aster serves the account nothing, and your executor says so.
- Lighter. Deposit on Lighter once from this wallet itself, so it has an account there.
- Each venue’s setup, next section.
Each venue’s setup
LaMarge sets up each venue in steps. Your account is linked first, with the same message for every venue, and the steps follow: your executor asks LaMarge for each one, checks what it is asked to sign, signs it, sends it, and waits until LaMarge records it. It runs each setup with its own key, once you confirm. None sends a transaction, and none needs gas. A move into or out of Aster needs its agent. A move from Lighter needs its key. A move from Hyperliquid or Polymarket Perps needs its permit, which the move signs itself when it’s missing. A step that’s missing stops the move before anything is signed, and the message names the step and the venue.
Where. In Settings, under LaMarge, each venue shows its steps done or left, and Set up Hyperliquid, Set up Polymarket Perps, Set up Aster or Set up Lighter. A confirmation says what will be signed, and what’s checked first.
Hyperliquid and Polymarket Perps: a signed permit
One permit, no transaction and no gas. It authorizes LaMarge’s escrow to draw the venue’s token from your address, and the escrow spends it only on deposits and payments you sign. LaMarge relays it; your executor then waits until LaMarge reads it final and records the step, 5 minutes at most. A move does this on its own when it’s missing, for the venue it pays from, before it moves anything. Running it beforehand only leaves the first move less to do. The permit is signed once: a move that stops because it wasn’t final in time waits for the same one next time. Nothing is signed for the venue a move goes into.Aster: LaMarge’s agent
LaMarge pays a take from your Aster account through an agent of its own on it, and confirms a delivery into it through the same agent. Theagent step is yours to start: a move into or out of Aster never runs it, and stops before anything is signed, naming the step and Aster.
- LaMarge’s agent approved on your Aster account, for a year. One signature, no transaction.
- The step recorded, once LaMarge sees the agent approved.
Lighter: LaMarge’s key on your account
LaMarge sends each payment from Lighter with a key of its own on your account, which you register once.- Lighter linked in LaMarge. Your wallet’s address links with no signature, as it does for every venue.
- The
api_keystep: LaMarge’s key registered on your Lighter account. One signature of Lighter’s registration message. Your executor then waits, a minute at most, until Lighter lists the key.
https://api.lamarge.trade), and it sends only the payments you sign. A later registration replaces it. A wallet with no Lighter account stops at the first step, and says to deposit to Lighter from it first.
The step is there only when you pay from Lighter. Paying from Lighter needs LaMarge’s server to have Lighter turned on. When it hasn’t, the setup and a move from Lighter stop, and say Paying from Lighter isn't enabled on this LaMarge.
What’s checked before anything is signed
Your executor signs nothing it didn’t expect. Before each signature it checks the request against what it asked for and against LaMarge’s deployment as lebroker reviewed it:- a permit: the venue’s token and its permit domain, LaMarge’s escrow as the spender, your address as the owner, and ten minutes at most to relay it;
- Aster’s agent: your account, an agent that isn’t your wallet, the name LaMarge gives its agent (
LaMargeonhttps://api.lamarge.trade,LaMargeDevon any other LaMarge), a year, and Aster’s perps permission alone, with withdrawal and spot trading refused; - Lighter’s key: key index 254 on
https://api.lamarge.trade, 253 on any other LaMarge, on your own Lighter account, as Lighter itself lists it for your address and as LaMarge linked it; - a move: the chains, tokens, escrows and settlements LaMarge lists, each escrow that LaMarge’s own and never another’s, each withdrawal’s amount with your own address as its recipient, and each payment against what it buys;
- a transfer from Aster or Lighter: below.
A move, step by step
- The book first. Before anything is signed or withdrawn, your executor asks LaMarge for the route and reads its book and works out what it fills. A move the book doesn’t fill at its minimum to receive never starts. Nor does one under the least the book takes that way, which says it:
LaMarge moves at least $5.01 from Polymarket Perps to Hyperliquid now: $2.22 is under it. A book with no level that way says that instead:LaMarge's book takes no move from Polymarket Perps to Hyperliquid now. - The venues’ steps, as above. A missing permit is signed here; a missing Aster agent or Lighter key stops the move.
- Funds on the giving venue’s chain. From Hyperliquid or Polymarket Perps, a withdrawal from the giving venue, to your own address on its chain, of what your address and your LaMarge balance there don’t already hold. When LaMarge offers it, the withdrawal is signed together with the payment: LaMarge sends the withdrawal, then the payment as soon as its funds reach your address, and a withdrawal the venue refuses ends the move with nothing paid. From Aster or Lighter, nothing: they pay from the venue’s own account, so there is no withdrawal, no permit and no gas.
- The payment, one signature. From Aster or Lighter it’s a transfer inside the venue.
- The fills, followed until each one settles, for 20 minutes at most.
- Into Aster, what the move delivered, moved into its futures account.
When LaMarge refuses a move, its own words, its reason when it gives one and its request id are kept in the journal, for its team to trace. No wallet address is kept with them.
A route through another venue
Your executor asks LaMarge for the route first, with your minimum to receive. It’s one take, or two through Hyperliquid or Polymarket Perps, as LaMarge’s router chooses. Two are needed between Lighter and Aster. When the whole amount doesn’t fill at that price, the route moves the most that does. Routes are on: a move between Lighter and Aster, by the margin keeper or by hand, goes through the venue LaMarge’s route names.- One cost. The total cost stays within the most the move may cost. Each of the two takes has its own least to receive. The first take’s least covers your minimum to receive plus what the second take costs, so a route that only fits within each take’s 10 bps of slippage doesn’t start.
- What it costs between Lighter and Aster. From Lighter, Lighter’s fee on its transfer (1 USDC at most), signed with the payment. From Aster, no fee. Then the venue between’s withdrawal for the second take: on Hyperliquid, its send fee ($0.0018 to $0.68 in October 2026). Each take also costs what its book keeps. Move margin shows no Min between them: no book joins them directly.
- What each side needs. Aster’s
agentstep, to pay from Aster or to receive there. Lighter’s key registration when paying from Lighter. Both venues of the second take are checked before anything is signed, and again before the second take signs anything. A route doesn’t start when a setup step it needs ends before the route could finish, about 70 minutes on: only the steps for paying from the venue between and receiving at the route’s end count, and the move names the step to run again. What arrives in Aster’s Spot wallet goes on into your futures account. - The second take continues the first, for what LaMarge says is left, its fee on the venue between left out. Your executor never signs anything for it that spends more than what the first delivered, the venue’s fee beside it included, even when that account holds nothing else.
- When the second can’t run, the move ends Partial and says what waits in your account on the venue between, and what left it for the second take and waits at your address or in your LaMarge balance on that venue’s chain. Run again, the move picks up where it stopped. A first take found again unpaid while the venue between isn’t ready is released, and nothing is signed.
- The margin keeper stops on it. A route whose second take delivered nothing blocks its own way: the keeper sends no more margin that way until what waits has moved on, and its other moves don’t wait for it. The way is free again once a move from the venue between to the route’s end, or one along the route’s own way, goes through; once the keeper reads the venue between’s account holding less than what waited in it; or after 6 hours at most, the alert then saying to check what still waits. It tells you at once what waits and where, in the strategies’ journals and your alerts, and a move found again after a restart counts once.
- Not atomic. The first take is final before the second starts, so the money can sit on the venue between until the second runs.
One bridge for several strategies
The margin keeper carries what every strategy needs at one check together. What one strategy gives on a venue and another needs there never leaves it, so a bridge carries the difference only. Example. ETH needs $50 to Hyperliquid, and BTC needs $20 to Polymarket Perps. One bridge takes $30 from Polymarket Perps to Hyperliquid, where $70 would have crossed in two.- One bridge at a time, each quoted before it starts. When the book fills less than a bridge asks, the keeper carries what fills and tells what stays short.
- The giving venue’s own fee comes out of what the bridge sends. What leaves the venue is what the keeper worked out, and that much less arrives. A move you start yourself, or a Move margin rule’s, pays that fee beside its amount.
- Its cost goes to the strategies it brought margin to, each for its share, to the cent. A strategy that only gave pays none of it.
- Each strategy keeps its own line. Its Margin & rebalances tab lists the bridge with its share of the amount and of the cost, and its History has the keeper’s line for the whole move: “Bridged $30 instead of $70: ETH needed $50 to Hyperliquid, BTC needed $20 to Polymarket Perps”.
- Needs that cancel out cross nothing. The move is still kept, as “Moved $40 without a bridge”, and costs nothing.
From Aster and Lighter: a transfer inside the venue
A move from Aster or Lighter is one fill, paid by a transfer inside the venue. LaMarge sends the transfer you signed, then the market maker delivers. Your executor signs nothing else for it: no withdrawal, no key made for one, no transaction. Before it signs, your executor checks the transfer against what it asked, and refuses a payment of another kind than the venue pays with.- From Aster, a transfer of USDT from your Aster account to the maker’s, signed for your account as above. It must name your account, the maker’s address, an amount that is what the fill owes and no more than a millionth of a dollar above it, the fill as its id, and a time within the next minute or so.
- From Lighter, a transfer from your Lighter account to the maker’s, signed as a message. Your executor checks your account against Lighter’s own API and against what LaMarge linked, the maker’s account against Lighter’s API too, the exact amount, the fill as its memo, and Lighter’s fee: 1 USDC at most, charged on top of the amount.
Into Aster: the Spot wallet
The maker delivers to your Aster Spot wallet, and a Spot wallet backs no position. So when the fills settle, your executor moves what this move delivered, and nothing else, into your futures account.- It is journaled. Each transfer is kept before it’s asked, under an id of its own, and done once Aster took it. A restart or a lost answer asks again safely: Aster moves nothing twice.
- It is retried. What Aster doesn’t take yet waits in the Spot wallet, and the move’s line says so. The margin keeper asks again at each pass, and each move asks before it starts, for a day. After that, or when a move from Aster is about to pay from that Spot wallet, it stays there.
- Lighter needs nothing: the maker delivers into your Lighter account itself.
What a move costs
A move’s cost is what left the giving venue less what arrived on the receiving one.
The most a move may cost is yours to set, 1% of the move by default: in the keeper’s settings (A bridge may cost at most). The book check counts the estimated fee of a giving venue that withdraws too, as Hyperliquid’s send, so a move that would cost more doesn’t start.
The venues’ fees are counted in the move’s cost, in the strategy’s P&L and in your messages. A fee under a cent shows its digits, such as
$0.0017.
Against a classic bridge. A strategy’s Margin & rebalances tab shows, beside each move, what the same amount would have cost and taken by a classic route: withdraw, bridge, deposit. lebroker prices those routes from live quotes on a schedule, weekly by default, and serves them at GET /v1/bridges.
Minimums. A Move margin rule moves $10 at least. The keeper's smallest move is each group's own setting: $10 to begin with, $1 at the lowest. LaMarge and the venues have their own, below.
The least a move takes
Each level of LaMarge’s book takes a least on what it delivers on the receiving venue. What pays for it is that least at the level’s price, so the least to send is a little more: 5.01 pUSD from Polymarket Perps for a level that delivers 5 USDC at least on Hyperliquid, at 119.26 USDC for 119.44 pUSD. The receiving venue’s own minimum counts too: 5 pUSD at least into Polymarket Perps and 1 USDC into Lighter, as of October 2026. A move from Aster or Lighter is one fill, so its least is that of the one level that takes it whole. Your executor works this least out from the book, for each way, rounded up to the cent so that it goes. It shows it as Min in Move margin and Deposit, and names it wherever a move is refused or held for it: a move by hand, a deposit, a rule’s move and the margin keeper’s. It moves with the book: read it again before a move.What waits on the way
A move that stops midway can leave funds between two venues. They’re still yours, in one of two places:- at your wallet’s address on the giving venue’s chain: HyperEVM for Hyperliquid, Polygon for Polymarket Perps;
- in your LaMarge balance on that chain.
- shows them on the Strategies page, under their account;
- counts them in what that venue can give, and for the leg that gave them;
- alerts you once when they’ve waited over 30 minutes: let the next move spend them, or withdraw them yourself.
Move margin yourself
While your executor runs, Move margin moves margin between two of your venue accounts at your word. It’s on each account’s card of the Strategies page, and in Settings, LaMarge.- Pick the venue margin leaves, the one it goes to, and the amount. Min is the least LaMarge’s book takes that way now, and Max what the giving venue can withdraw now. Either fills the amount.
- The quote says what arrives on the other venue and the least that will, what the move costs, the giving venue’s fee included, and about how long it takes, beside what a classic bridge would take for the same move. It’s read again every few seconds.
- Review reads the move back, with what leaves the giving venue, its fee included, and Move starts it. It is signed for your account as above, and the dialog follows it to its end. Closing the dialog doesn’t stop the move.
- an amount above what the giving venue can withdraw;
- a move whose setup isn’t done, with the way to it: the step it names, on its venue;
- a move while another one runs, the keeper’s included;
- an amount under the least LaMarge’s book takes that way, said in the amount’s field as it’s typed:
LaMarge moves at least $5.01 this way now. A book that takes nothing that way shows No book now in place of Min; - a move LaMarge’s book doesn’t fill at the most it may cost: the keeper’s setting, unless you set another with Change, beside Max cost.
Deposit into a venue account
Deposit… puts money into one of your venue accounts through LaMarge. It’s on each venue in Settings, Trading venues (the row’s main action while the venue shows Deposit first), and on each account’s card of the Strategies and Positions pages. Deposit to a venue lists where the money can come from, each with what it holds:
A source that holds nothing, or can’t go now, is shown off, with why: Setup needed, Not through LaMarge, or Couldn’t be read. The rest is a margin move’s: the amount with Min and Max, what arrives, the cost and the time, Max cost with Change, then Review, Deposit $…, and its progress. Close, it goes on leaves it to your executor.
The source you chose stays the one: if a later read doesn’t list it, the dialog says so and asks nothing until you choose again. It never puts another source in its place.
From your wallet, how LaMarge does it: its take pays from your LaMarge balance on that chain first, then from your address, and withdraws from the venue only what both lack. A deposit from your wallet never withdraws: one your wallet doesn’t cover stops before anything is signed. So:
- It needs the setup of the venue whose chain the tokens are on, as a move from that venue does: Hyperliquid’s permit for USDC on HyperEVM, Polymarket Perps’ for pUSD on Polygon (above). pUSD also needs your Polymarket Perps account open.
- Not into the venue of the same chain. LaMarge moves between two venues: pUSD on Polygon can’t go to Polymarket Perps through it, nor USDC on HyperEVM to Hyperliquid.
- Not from Aster or Lighter. They pay from their own account, so your wallet’s tokens on their chain pay no move. A deposit of USDT from BSC into Aster isn’t offered any more.
- No venue fee: nothing is withdrawn. Nor a classic route beside it: lebroker prices those between two venue accounts.
- It serves no strategy: nothing left their accounts. It’s listed among the moves as a deposit, in no strategy’s journal or P&L.
